Delivering training to practioners and agencies is essential to raise awareness about sperm donor abuse, whilst also improving services for women. The Sperm Donor Abuse Foundation is based upon up to date policy research. Our expertise in this specific area of violence against women has been gained over the last four years and we represent the only specialist organisation in the UK and internationally working within this field. In essence, we are excellently placed to deliver training and consultancy.

Claire McQuoid, is the Founder and Director of the Sperm Donor Abuse Foundation. She is a sociologist and a former University Lecturer in Criminology & Criminal Justice, and has over 15 years' teaching experience in the adult sector where her teaching and research specialism comprised domestic violence and child abuse. She holds a PhD and an M.Sc.Econ. She has recently worked as a Specialist Research Consultant with Amos Pictures on their Channel 4 documentary, '4 Men, 175 Babies: Britain's Super Donors.'
All profits raised from our training and consultancy are put back into ensuring that the Sperm Donor Abuse Foundation can continue to provide high quality services to help women and to reduce victimisation.
Research Adviser to Media & Press
We are regularly contacted by the press and media for research advice on how to investigate unregulated Internet sperm donation. We have previously provided advice to the BBC, Acme TV, Amos Pictures, and the Daily Mail.
Similarly, we have liaised with the BBC to check the authenticity of a writer's pitch and scenes for a popular TV drama series, 'Doctors.'
